Realistic aircraft recovery exercise successfully carried out…
Training for an Emergency Scenario
A comprehensive aircraft recovery exercise was recently conducted at the airport under highly realistic conditions. The scenario simulated a nose landing gear failure after landing, causing the aircraft to come to a stop on the runway and requiring recovery. Airport and professional fire brigade teams worked closely together during the operation.
During the exercise, the aircraft was lifted using a crane vehicle and a lifting beam. After installing a turntable beneath the damaged nose landing gear, the aircraft was ultimately towed away.
The objective of the exercise was to strengthen the smooth coordination between emergency response teams and to optimize procedures for aircraft recovery under conditions as realistic as possible.
The exercise was successfully completed and provided valuable insights for real-life emergency situations.
