In mid-June, the Annual General Meeting of Tiroler Flughafenbetriebsgesellschaft mbH reviewed the 2025 financial year. The results confirm the economic stability of Innsbruck Airport. Despite challenging market conditions, the company was able to increase both its revenue and earnings.

In the 2025 financial year, Innsbruck Airport generated total revenue of EUR 44.8 million, representing an increase of 6.8% compared to the previous year. The majority of revenue was generated in the aviation sector, with almost 81% of total revenue stemming directly from flight operations and related services. Approximately 19% came from the non-aviation sector, which includes rental and leasing income as well as retail revenue.
The airport’s strongest airline partners during the past year were the Dutch carrier transavia, a wholly owned subsidiary of KLM, the British airline easyJet, and Austrian Airlines. Together, these three airlines accounted for nearly 60% of all scheduled and charter passengers. Overall, 882,876 passengers travelled through Innsbruck Airport in 2025, representing an increase of 2.4% compared to the previous year.
In terms of profitability, Innsbruck Airport continued the positive trend seen in the previous year and achieved a profit before tax of EUR 7.7 million. Compared to the 2024 financial year, this represents a 24% increase in profit, primarily attributable to the positive traffic development and the resulting increase in revenues.

Development of the Current 2026 Financial Year
The year 2026 got off to a successful start. Following passenger growth of 3.4% in the first quarter compared to the same period of the previous year, the positive trend continued throughout the year. In the first half of 2026, Innsbruck Airport handled a total of 656,448 scheduled and charter passengers, representing an increase of 4.1% compared to the first half of 2025.
This positive trend is expected to continue in the second half of 2026, with passenger numbers projected to reach approximately 920,000 passengers by the end of the year.
Positive momentum for the current summer season comes from the return of the Greek island of Corfu to the flight schedule and the expansion of key scheduled services to London and Amsterdam. The British capital is served five times per week during the summer season, while the Dutch capital is served four times per week.
The Amsterdam route in particular continues to gain importance. Through the international hub of Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, travellers benefit from attractive worldwide onward connections via KLM and Delta Air Lines codeshare flight numbers within the SkyTeam Alliance network.
