In its anniversary year 2025, Innsbruck Airport continued to advance its commitment to sustainable site development. Investments in energy projects, the expansion of the electric vehicle fleet, and increased transparency in flight operations were implemented as key measures over the past year. The new Sustainability Report provides insights into the wide range of sustainability initiatives undertaken by the airport.

Reducing the Carbon Footprint
Through the acquisition of additional electric vehicles and the conversion of further equipment to renewable energy sources, the airport was able to further reduce its carbon footprint. These measures represent important steps towards improving its environmental performance.

Transparency and Noise Protection
Significant progress was also made in the areas of noise protection and transparent communication. Since January 2025, the airport has been publishing all extensions of operating hours on its website, thereby strengthening its open dialogue with the local community.
