The Association of Austrian Airports (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Österreichischer Verkehrsflughäfen – AÖV) has appointed a new President: Mag. Norbert Draskovits, Managing Director of Linz Airport, will assume the position on a rotating basis for the next two years, succeeding Mag. Julian Jäger, CEO of Vienna Airport.
The official handover took place during the Presidential Meeting on 13 June 2025 in Linz.
The Association of Austrian Airports was founded in 1956 and represents the interests of Austria’s regional airports. Its members include the airports of Graz, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Linz, Salzburg and Vienna, represented at both management and operational level. The AÖV aims to promote cross-company cooperation, facilitate regular knowledge exchange on operational processes, and represent shared interests in national and international aviation- and airport-related decision-making processes. The AÖV also maintains close cooperation with its sister organisations in Germany(ADV – Association of German Airports) and Switzerland (SIAA – Swiss International Airports Association).
