Press Release – 25 April 2025

This weekend marks the start of the summer charter season at Innsbruck Airport, with the first flight to Corsicadeparting on Sunday, 27 April. A total of 15 sun destinations are included in the summer flight programme from Innsbruck. New this season is a weekly service to Turkey, operated in cooperation with TUI Austria.

While Corsica, operated by Vorarlberg-based tour operator Rhomberg Reisen, kicks off the summer charter season this weekend, the range of holiday flights will continue to expand over the coming weeks.

A particularly welcome addition to the summer programme is the new flight connection to the Turkish Riviera – Antalya. TUI Austria will operate this service once a week on Fridays from 23 May. Destinations including Calabria, Mallorca, and the Greek islands of Karpathos, Kos, Crete and Rhodes complete TUI Austria’s offering from Innsbruck.

Tyrolean tour operator Idealtours will offer flights this summer to the Greek holiday regions of Kalamata, Kefalonia, Lesbos, Lefkada / Epirus and Chalkidiki, as well as Calabria in southern Italy.

Christophorus Reisen specialises in Sardinia, while Stoll Reisen offers a Mallorca programme from early May to early June from Innsbruck. In addition, short-break flights to Rhodes and Dalaman are available this season, bookable exclusively through Tyrolean senior citizens’ associations.

Thanks to the long-standing and reliable tour operator partners, an attractive summer flight programme for 2025 has once again been created, offering 15 different sun destinations with convenient access from Innsbruck. The destinations appeal equally to families, sun seekers travelling with friends or in groups, and passengers who value the advantages of an airport with short distances and easy access.

So far, the booking season in Tyrolean travel agencies has been developing well, and Innsbruck Airport therefore expects a positive trend for the summer season.
